ABOUT THREE BROTHERS NATIVE WEAR
(click to hear)

We three brothers of Three Brothers received a check today. It appears that being Indian pays off for us. We know nothing of racism directed towards us. We never lived on the reservation in Wisconsin. In fact, we were raised in a Northern New Jersey community where natives don't make up a strong contingent. However, we are enrolled and, therefore, we receive a check every year, usually griping about the amount. We also get the privilege of telling people, "We are Oneida." They usually respond by asking us how much money we receive. When we respond with the amount, generally, they ask us how they can become Indian too. I suppose it was a good laugh for a while.

Before this venture came along, we all learned of the epic battles waged and the proud courageous warriors who were involved; those such as the familiar Crazy Horse, Sitting Bull and Quanah Parker to the dedicated activists of the American Indian Movement. What we were never taught was to understand who these inspiring leaders were and what it was they were fighting to preserve. Now we know.

From this day forth, when we three brothers are asked how one who is not an Indian can become one too, we will answer with only words of proud acknowledgment to our ancestry and culture. The answer will be, "Never now or later can a non-Indian have an Indian soul. There are not many of them left. Let them be them alone. They are good at it." Nothing makes Three Brothers more proud than to have its principles share lineage with this group of wondrous people.

Three Brothers showcases the remarkable brilliance of these real Indians. They are the absolute best at what they do and deserve recognition. They are the craftsman and artisans everyone wishes they could be. The seemingly unnatural acts they perform with their own hands would make Houdini's tongue unravel with astonishment. Yet, they are not magicians. Their offerings are real and they will prove such by satisfying every sense you possess. These are real Indians. You need them and their unique artistry. It is easy for them to do what they do and you will pay a fair amount for what they have to offer. You will spend confidently, without remorse, by knowing your piece is one of a kind; hand-built with Indian perfection by someone who truly loves creation.

These are real Indians.
